The Amazon jungle is everyone's heritage. We all have a duty and obligation to preserve the Amazon Forest, to try to reduce the irregular burnings that are increasing every year, with people's excessive greed!
Each helicopter flight to monitor the fires in the Amazon rainforest, find out where they happen and report them to public bodies costs around $5,000. It's a lot of money, for Brazilians. Therefore, we need the financial help of people from other parts of the planet, to pay for these trips, which are carried out with the presence of a specialized person, to film where the fires are taking place!
This site is intended to get donations to finance flights, with helicopters, through the Amazon Rainforest, looking for the fires!
About the importance and the need to preserve the Forest and the water that exists there untouched!
We are a group of people concerned about the irregular burnings that are taking place in the Amazon rainforest. It is difficult to supervise and denounce the fires, through roads, because they do not exist. Much of the Amazon rainforest, where the biggest fires take place, is surrounded by water, where access is only allowed by boat. But, on land, you can't see where the fires happen. For this reason, we decided to unite, to inspect the Amazon from the air, with helicopters.
We are a group of people who live in the Amazon, supervising, in locu, the burnings that are increasing every day, with more intensity, due to the difficulty of inspection - IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO SURVEILL THE BURNS, THE BIG BURNS, BY AIR!
We intend to: Identify where fires occur Film where the fires happen Report where fires take place to local authorities and the world! Helping to locate fires before they spread Pass information to the people who live in the Amazon Forest, about the importance and the need to preserve the Forest and the water that exists there untouched!
We need monetary help to pay the costs of flights, for the areas that are burning and to inform the authorities!
